We are familiar with the maintenance report

Easy-to-understand series.

I will write about telephoto lenses.

I will write this article with reference to the lenses we sold in the past at

The telephoto lens has a narrower field of view (angle of view)

than the standard lens and allows you to take a larger picture of a

distant object (subject).

For SLR lenses that use 35mm film, lenses with focal lengths from

about 70-80mm are generally called telephoto lenses.

And the focal length is longer.

See this column for more information on focus.

The maximum aperture value is
larger than those of standard lenses and other lenses, often from f/4 to f/5.6.
Some lenses are as bright as F2.8, such as the reference lens shown here.

For more information on aperture, please see this column.

Many types have a lens hood built in.

This is an easy-to-understand way to identify a telephoto lens.

Stay tuned for the next installment of our easy-to-understand
