at first
I’m sorry
Because we can’t speak english
I am using DeepL translate, so it may be a strange sentence,
but I would like you to understand
Thank you
Today.
I will write a brief and easy-to-understand article about
Minolta’s vintage lens
I will write about the SR mount in a simple and
easy-to-understand way.
I will explain using the lenes sell by our company Vintage Shop Japan Inc.
Minolta AUTO ROKKOR-PF 55mm f/1.8
Click here to see the column of cleaning work
Simply
AUTO ROKKOR in the lens name
It will be an SR mount lens.
AUTO in AUTO ROKKOR means automatic aperture.
The SR mount features.
Bajonett type mount (one-touch connection between camera and lens).
This type of rens is not capable of open aperture metering
(measuring the correct light from the lens with the aperture open).
When I wrote about vintage Minolta lens mounts before.
I referred to when I wrote about vintage Minolta MC mounts.
but there are some differences.
I made a comparison between SR mount and MC mount.
MC mount lens (reference image)
With MC mount lenses
MC will be indicated on the display. (Reference image)
In MC mount lenses
Aperture Priority AE (a method of shooting in which the aperture is
set based on the image) and
TTL open aperture metering (a method of measuring light from the lens using a sensor)
can be used.
This is why I wrote about the Minolta SR mount in this issue.
If I notice anything in the camera mount in the future
I will keep writing a column about it.
