The lettering on these two lenses is what I’m interested in.

In Nikon lenses

The number indicating the focal length is only shown on the

front side of the lens.

The ft portion in the upper column of the distance indication
(approximate distance) is yellow, and the m portion in the lower
column is white.

The aperture value is colored differently for each number: red, blue, and yellow.
Nikon lenses use this coloring.

In Canon lenses
The number representing the focal length (bottom row) is shown
in green (50mm)

The ft portion of the top row of distance indicators (approximate distances)
is shown in white, and the m portion of the bottom row is shown in orange.
