The film winding lever on this 1977 Canon A35 Datelux release was changed from the lower lever position on rangefinder cameras released in the 1960s to the upper position.
The winding lever sits smoothly thanks to a good upper design.
The shutter button is on the axis.
The shape is very easy to operate.
The position of the winding lever on the Canon A35 Datelux is the opposite of that of the Canonet introduced in the previous issue.
The lower winding lever of the Canonet has been replaced by an upper lever on the Canon A35 Datelux, as shown in this article.
