In this issue, we would like to introduce the film counter design of PETRI Camera’s manual focus film SLR camera released in 1970.

PETRI V6-Ⅱ (Reference product)

A steel silver body based film SLR camera released in 1970.

In most film cameras, the film counter is located right next to the film winding lever and shutter release button.

In this PETRI V6-II, the film counter is on the opposite side.

A film counter is located next to the film rewind handle.

This film counter has a round, short, tubular shape.

The numeral plate rotates and slides inside, and the number of film sheets can be checked with the fixed black needle.
I think it is linked to the winding lever.

In this issue, we have introduced PETRI Camera’s film counter for manual focus SLR cameras released in 1970.

In the past, we have discussed the design of various creative parts of PETRI Camera.

It is fun to take a closer look at them and discover new things about them.

We hope to continue to introduce mechanisms and designs that seem to have features that you do not see very often, so please look forward to them!

Thank you again for reading this column.
