Paste leather for OLYMPUS’s film SLR cameras Part 2 !
at first
I’m sorry
Because we can’t speak english
I am using DeepL translate, so it may be a strange sentence,
but I would like you to understand
Thank you
In this issue, we would like to introduce the pasted leather of OLYMPUS’s manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979.
OLYMPUS OM10 (Reference product)
The OM10 is equipped with OLYMPUS-specific patterned leather paste.
The upper and lower leather brackets on the front face are made of steel with the same width dimensions.
The pasted leather near the hinge support of the film chamber is firmly and neatly attached thanks to the bracket extended from the front surface.
The opening and closing of the film chamber on the opposite side also has the same firmly attached adhesive leather as the hinge side.
The rear film compartment lid has the same design as the front film compartment lid.
In addition, the film compartment cover has an asymmetrical design in terms of the horizontal and length dimensions of the bracket.
This time we introduced the paste leather of OLYMPUS’s manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979.
Compared to the OM-1 we introduced in the last issue, the leather and the bracket seem to be almost the same.
I was impressed with the manufacturer’s attitude of carefully carrying on the same design for 6 years in the same OM series.
I will continue to write columns about functional parts, new discoveries, and designs of film cameras that interest me, so please look forward to them!
Thank you for reading my column today.
