In this issue, we will take a look at the shutter speed dial on Konica’s 1979 manual focus film SLR camera.
Konica FS-1 (Reference product)
This film SLR camera with a black steel body was released in 1979.
The shutter speed dial is located between the eye-level finder and the shutter button.
Speed values from B to 1/1000th of a second are marked on the disk-shaped knob dial.
The color of the speed letters is orange for 2, 1, and 60, and white for the rest.
To change the shutter speed, turn the outside of the dial as it is and align it with the circled indicator.
The outside of the dial is silver-colored for clarity.
In this article, we have introduced the shutter speed dial of Konica’s 1979 release manual focus SLR camera.
Konica’s shutter speed display is very easy to read.
The silver color on the outside of the dial was also a great design accent.
We will continue to introduce shutter speed dials of various specifications in the future, so please look forward to it!
