Thank you
In this issue, we would like to introduce the film counter of the OLYMPUS film half-size camera released in 1973.
OLYMPUS-PEN EE-3 (Reference product)
The film counter is set next to the shutter release button on the top of the body.
The number of pieces is marked in a transparent circular plate with a silver-plated ring around the circumference.
The numbers are shown in black and red on a white base.
The counter is set for approximately 72 shots for a half-size camera.
When film is inserted, the red-colored triangular indicator in the center points to “S” and the counter rotates toward the higher number as the shooting progresses.
In this issue, we introduced the film counter of the OLYMPUS half-size film camera released in 1973.
This camera evolved from the PEN-D introduced in the previous issue. There is a difference in the way the counter advances.
In the PEN-D, the number of shots is decreasing, but in the EE-3, the number of shots is increasing from the first one.
I will continue to write columns on various film cameras and their interesting and detailed features, so please look forward to them!
