In this issue, we will take a look at the exposure compensation dial on YASHICA’s 1978 manual focus film SLR camera.

YASHICA FRⅡ (Reference product)

The exposure compensation dial is located below the film winding handle and is shared with the film sensitivity dial.

There are four types of correction values.
They are white color correction values on black base color.
Only 1X is the orange color value,
1/4, 1/2, 2, and 4 are white color values.

To select a value, turn the side of the dial as it is and align it with the index.

The dial section is similar in design to the shutter mode dial.

In this article, we introduced the exposure compensation dial on a YASHICA manual focus SLR camera released in 1978.

In this camera, two functions are integrated in one dial.

The slightly rounded design of the numerical display surface is also very nice.

We will continue to introduce various design and functional areas of interest in the next issue, so please look forward to it!

Thank you again for reading this column.
