In this issue, we would like to introduce the film chamber lid open knob design of Canon’s auto-focus film SLR cameras released in 1993.
Canon EOS Kiss (Reference product)
The opening knob is located on the side. Slide the semicircular knob in the center of the long-hole shaped slide under the strap bracket upward while pressing down.
The long-hole-shaped knob moves up and opens the film chamber lid.
The open knob is embedded neatly without destroying the design.
In this issue, we introduced the film chamber lid open knob design of Canon’s 1993 autofocus film SLR camera.
In the EOS Kiss released three years after the EOS 10 QD introduced in the previous issue, the open knob has become smaller and simpler.
Although it is not a very important part of the camera, I think it would be good to give it a little more presence.
I will continue to write columns about designs and unusual features of film cameras that interest me, so please look forward to them!
Thank you for reading my column today.
