In this issue, we will look at the lens mount base design of a manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979 by OLYMPUS.
OLYMPUS OM10 (Reference product)
The lens mount for this body is an OM mount.
The mount base is designed to descend from the inner surface of the eye-level viewfinder to the outer diameter of the lens mount at a slight angle from the straight line, and then again at a gradual angle down toward the extension of the initial starting point.
The mount base is black in color and thick and solid.
The lens mount is secured with three screws. The underside of the mount base has a diagonally cut design.
