In this issue, we present the lens mount base design of Canon’s 1993 film SLR camera with autofocus.

Canon EOS Kiss (Reference product)

The lens mount for this body is the Canon EF mount.
The mount base is integrated into the body, and the lens mount base design is an extension of the eye-level finder design with a circular curve.

You can see that it is integrated with the eye-level finder.

The lens mount is secured with five screws and the mount is neatly integrated into the base. A lens release button is provided.

In this issue, we introduced the lens mount base for Canon’s 1993 release of SLR cameras with autofocus.

In the 1990s, most SLR cameras came with autofocus, but the lens mount base was designed to be integrated with the eye-level finder.

This was the era of film SLR cameras when curved camera designs were the norm.

I will continue to write columns on the lens mount base design of film auto-focus SLR cameras and other areas of interest, so please look forward to them!

Thank you again for reading this column.
