Today we have a Canon auto-focus film compact camera released in 1979.
Canon AF35M Autoboy (Reference product)
It is made of plastic and has a piano black color appearance.
The grip portion is shaped to prevent slipping.
The finder and autofocus receiver line the upper front side.
The mounted lens is a single focal length lens, 35mm f/2.8 lens.
The film sensitivity dial is located inside the red circle line and has an indicator window.
Next to the lens is a slide switch for the flash, and below it are the self-timer and pre-focus (a function to bring the camera roughly into focus) levers.
The top side of the camera houses the flash on the left.
Next to the camera model name are the film rewind switch, film counter, and shutter button.
Rear view.
There is a flash lamp next to the viewfinder and an indicator window for automatic film winding next to it.
Below that is the film chamber.
The bottom of the camera has a film rewind button, a tripod seat, and a battery compartment.
This time we introduced Canon’s auto-focus compact camera released in 1979.
The AF35M Autoboy was Canon’s first autofocus lens shutter camera.
It was a great film compact camera because it was a fully automatic compact camera in all functions.
The Autoboy series will continue after this.
I hope to introduce this series in the future when the opportunity arises, so please look forward to it!
