In this issue, we would like to introduce the film chamber lid open knob design of PETRI Camera’s manual-focus film SLR cameras released in 1970.
PETRI V6-Ⅱ (Reference product)
The film chamber lid open knob is located on the side of the film rewind handle.
The knob cover, while rectangular, has an elaborate design on one side and is also fitted with paste leather.
The film chamber lid is opened by moving the lever on the plated section at the bottom of the knob cover down.
The lever is easily seen from the front side.
In this issue, we introduced the film chamber lid open knob design of Petri Camera’s manual focus film SLR camera released in 1970.
The Petri V6-II has been introduced in this column for its innovative idea and design, but the open knob is the same system as the Konica knob introduced in the previous issue.
I think it is very good for SLR cameras to have an open knob that is located in a very obvious place and is easy to use.
Please look forward to my next column, where I will continue to write about features and unexpected discoveries of film cameras that caught my attention!
Thank you for reading my column today.
