I’m sorry
Because we can’t speak english
I am using DeepL translate, so it may be a strange sentence, but I would like you to understand
Thank you
In this column, I suddenly thought that the design of a film compact camera resembles a certain thing, so I decided to write a column about it.
As usual, I will write with reference to the camera that is on sale at our vintage shop Japan Inc.
Konica KANPAI

This is the KONICA KANPAI that often appears in our maintenance reports, but we thought the design of the viewfinder lens and flash unit looked very similar to the headlights of a car!
This is a headlight of AUDI A4 that I used to own.
Don’t you see the resemblance? (Laughs)
The KONICA KANPAI camera was launched in 1989, and the AUDI car was launched in 1994, so each existed at about the same time.
Camera design had influenced car design! How fun to imagine!
Perhaps it is simply because the car’s headlights are familiar to us.
There may be other compact film cameras with headlight likenesses out there that I’ll have to look for again!
Thanks again for your time!
In addition to the film compact cameras introduced this time, we also sell vintage cameras and lenses, so please see the URL below.
