In this issue, we would like to introduce the film counter design of Mamiya’s rangefinder compact camera released in 1959.
MAMIYA 35 Ruby (Reference product)
This rangefinder compact camera with a steel silver body base was released in 1959.
The film counter is located above the film winding lever, just next to the shutter release button.
The counter display window is located on the upper side of the same section as the film winding lever.
The display window is designed for easy viewing of the indicator section.
A knurled knob is attached to the periphery.
When the knurled knob is turned, the numeral board rotates internally to allow the number of pieces to be set as desired.
From 1 to 33 sheets can be displayed.
This time, we introduced a film counter of MAMIYA’s rangefinder compact camera released in 1959.
The rangefinder compact camera is a compact camera with almost the same specifications as an SLR camera, but it also has a solid film counter.
We hope to continue to introduce mechanisms and designs that seem to be characteristic of rangefinder cameras, so please look forward to it!
