In this issue, we would like to introduce the strap guide design of Konica’s manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979.
Konica FS-1 (Reference product)
The camera strap guides for the FS-1 are located near the film chamber open/close lever on the front of the body and near the battery chamber open/close lever on the back of the body.
The bracket ring on the front side of the body is plated and has a steel strap guide.
A plastic bracket with the “KONICA” name is attached to it.
A plastic guide with the “KONICA” name is also attached to the belt near the strap guide on the back side of the body.
In this issue we have introduced a strap guide design for a manual focus film SLR camera released by Konica in 1979.
The camera strap guide is not directly related to the shooting function.
However, the FS-1 is a very well designed camera strap with the brand name on the strap guide!
Please look forward to my next column, where I will continue to write about designs and unusual discoveries of film cameras that caught my attention!
Thank you for reading my column today.
