In this issue, we would like to introduce the strap guide design of a manual focus film SLR camera released in 1978 by RICOH.

RICOH XR500 (Reference product)

The camera strap guides for the XR500 are located on the left and right sides of the top of the pasted leather on the front of the body.

The strap guide base attached to the camera body itself is a round, sturdy, plated base.

The strap guide is a wire-like object shaped similar to a D-shape and plated.

In this issue, we introduced the strap guide design of RICOH’s 1978 manual-focus film SLR camera.

The strap guide of this camera is D-shaped, with the part that moves freely and the part that tightens the strap firmly fulfilling their roles.

Strap guides vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and model to model, and it is fun to learn about the various designs.

Please look forward to my next column, where I will continue to write about the fine design details of film cameras that are of interest to you!

Thank you for reading my column today.
