Taking a break from my usual vintage cameras, I took a walk today in search of vintage around me.
Away from the usual vintage cameras,
Today I went for a walk in search of vintage that is close to me.
Hokkaido University is located just a short distance from JR Sapporo Station, the gateway to Sapporo City, Hokkaido, where I live.
This university has a long history, having been founded in 1876 as Sapporo Agricultural College.
This location is a treasure trove of vintage architecture.
Today, we would like to introduce one of them.

It was built in 1902, and has been enlarged and some parts of the building have been relocated to its present form.
The entire building is white with light red accents on the roof, building corners and window frames.
It was a one-story, nicely colored vintage architecture.
The windows were vertically long, which gave it a slightly different image from modern architecture.
I will continue to take irregular walks to find vintage buildings around me and introduce them in my column.
