In this article, we will introduce the film sensitivity dial of Asahi Optics’s PENTAX brand manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979.




PENTAX ME Super (Reference product)


The film sensitivity dial is integrated inside the exposure compensation dial below the rewind crank.


This setting is for ASA display only, from 20 to 1600.
The numerical values are shown in black color on a silver-colored base plate.


It is compatible with films up to ASA 1600 sensitivity.


The sensitivity setting is made by turning the dial while lifting the side of the dial.
