In this issue, we will take a look at the film sensitivity dial on Canon’s 1964 manual focus film SLR camera.

Canon FX (Reference product)

There is a film sensitivity dial that doubles as a shutter speed dial.

ASA and DIN displays can be set. Each value can be checked through a small window.

The dial is a disk with white-colored speed values.
The film sensitivity value is marked on the dial.
The numerical values are displayed in red color.

Lift and rotate the flat knurled portion of the dial by hand to set the value.

In this article, we introduced the film sensitivity dial on Canon’s 1964 release manual focus SLR camera.

This Canon FX has a dial that doubles as a shutter speed dial.

Since shutter speed and film sensitivity are very closely related, the dual-use dial is very easy to use.

We will continue to introduce various parts of the function in the future, so stay tuned!

Thank you again for reading this column.
