I mentioned the manufacturer of this camera last time.
Here it is again

It was manufactured by a now-defunct company called Hachiyo Optical Industries

The company seems to have been established around 1945, taking over from the current Nikon factory in Nagano

Unfortunately, it seems to have gone out of business in 1955.

It looks like it was manufactured in the early 1950s, so it is a twin-lens reflex camera about 70 years old now.

I understand it’s extant because it’s basically a genre that’s cherished.
I think that cameras were something that people’s dreams were filled with.

The exterior of the camera is in the condition it came in about 70 years ago.

Rust can be seen near the lens attachment area.
The viewfinder is not in good position when open.
One of the bottom stands is missing.

As for the optics, there are scratches, fogging, and mold, and the shutter sometimes works and sometimes does not.

Since it is in such a condition
I am listing this item as junk.

You can feel the history of Japanese camera.
We hope you will be interested in this camera.
and enjoy the vintage camera life!
