Continued from last time

In this issue, I would like to write about the design of the

focus ring of vintage lenses.

The focusing ring is always used.

It is important to have a good grip.

It differs in its design among manufacturers.

I will comparison using two lenses sell by our company Vintage Shop Japan Inc.

Nikon Ai-s NIKKOR 28mm f/3.5

The focusing ring on Nikon lenses is

rectangular squares.

It is designed like a chocolate board.

Asahi Pentax Super Multi Coated TAKUMAR 35mm f/3.5

The focusing ring of the Asahi Pentax is in the form of a

horizontal groove only.

It may be made of steel, or it may be a machined pattern.

The age of the lenses are different from each other.

I have different designs in rubber and steel.

And.

I think the manufacturer’s unique grip design is interesting.

I’m still working on lenses from other manufacturers.

I have a slightly different design.

I will write about it in the next issue.

In addition to the above items, we also sell vintage cameras and

lenses, please see the URL below.
