I’m sorry

Because we can’t speak english

I am using DeepL translate, so it may be a strange sentence,

but I would like you to understand

Thank you

When I think of a film SLR camera, I think of that part with the manufacturer’s logo!

The first part you will see is the eye-level finder at the top of the body, shaped like a pyramid.

In this article, we will look at Minolta’s eye-level finder design.

For more information on film SLR cameras, please refer to the following column.

How Film SLR Cameras Work

We will use the cameras on sale at our vintage shop Japan Inc.

The accessory shoe above the eye-level finder has been removed to make the design easier to understand.

Front view.
The manufacturer’s logo is placed in a slightly protruding design section, so the word “minolta” is emphasized more.

This is an angle from an angle.
The design is basically a straight surface, but the area of the vertex is a little smaller.

When viewed from the side, the area near the top has a much smaller curved treatment.

View from directly above.

The viewfinder section on the back side is incorporated.

The Minolta SR-1 was released in 1959. It is an eye-level finder similar in design to the Canon Flex RP introduced in the previous issue, and is basically based on straight lines.

I see that all manufacturers had similar designs in the 1950s and 1960s.

I think this is a good part of vintage cameras.

In the next issue, I would like to introduce eye level finder of 1970s.

In addition to the film SLR cameras introduced this time, we also sell vintage cameras and lenses, anime goods, and radio cassette players, so please see the URL below.
