Thank you

In this issue, we would like to introduce the pasted leather of Asahi Optics’s Pentax brand manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979.

PENTAX ME Super (Reference product)

The design of the pasted leather is a slightly larger horizontal pattern.

The shutter side is covered with a large area of pasted leather.

There is a bracket to hold the leather paste firmly in place.

The hinge side of the film chamber is curved, but it is firmly fixed without peeling.

The other side also has a firmly fixed paste leather.

The backside is kept tight by brackets with pasted leather on the top and bottom.

This time we introduced a paste leather for a manual focus film SLR camera released in 1979 under the Asahi Optics’s Pentax brand.

Thanks to the firm edge restraining bracket of the pasted leather, there is no leather peeling or lifting at all, and the design shows no deterioration of the leather.

I will continue to write columns on various parts and mechanisms of the camera, so please look forward to them!

Thank you for reading my column today.
