Paste leather for Konica’s film SLR cameras!

at first

I’m sorry

Because we can’t speak english

I am using DeepL translate, so it may be a strange sentence,

but I would like you to understand

Thank you

In this issue, we would like to introduce the pasted leather of Konica’s manual focus film SLR camera released in 1976.

Konica ACOM-1 (Reference product)

The material of the pasted leather on the front of the body is a little smooth to the touch.

Perhaps due to the lack of a bracket for holding the leather, the leather at the border with the body is starting to lift.

The other side of the front of the body also has a raised border with the body.

The open/close lock side of the film chamber is held in place by a screw.

The back cover of the film chamber is not entirely covered with leather, but is divided into sections.

The other side is slightly shorter and covered with pasted leather.

This time, we introduced a Konica manual-focus film SLR camera released in 1976 with pasted leather.

In this reference item, the border between the leather and the body had started to lift, probably due to the storage condition.
The camera made in 1962 by another company, which we introduced in the previous issue, did not have any floating of the leather, but the leather was a little regrettable, perhaps due to the cost of the leather at that time.
Or, it might be due to the effect of the leather holding bracket.

I will continue to write columns on various aspects of the camera that interest me, so please look forward to them!

Thank you for reading my column today.
