I’m sorry
Because we can’t speak english
I am using DeepL translate, so it may be a strange sentence,
but I would like you to understand
Thank you!
Today I am sending you the third installment of the building section of my walk in search of a familiar vintage.
Three times I am recapitulating what I said the other day,
Hokkaido University, founded in 1876 as Sapporo Agricultural College, is located right next to JR Sapporo Station, the main entrance to Sapporo City in Hokkaido.
We have found another great vintage building in this treasure trove of vintage architecture!
<Furukawa Memorial Lecture Hall (Forestry classroom of the former Tohoku Imperial University College of Agriculture)>
This building was constructed in 1909 when the Tohoku Imperial University was reorganized into the College of Agriculture. It was built with a donation from the Furukawa family of the famous Furukawa Zaibatsu in Japan.
The entire building is light pink, with white designs for the windows, building corners and window frames, and dark green for the roof and other parts of the building.
This time it was a two-story vintage architecture with a lot of presence.
It was a vintage architecture that I would like to take a closer look at again, with various wonderful and detailed designs in various places!
I will continue to find vintage in everyday life and write a column about it in my next issue.
Thank you for reading my column today.
